Well it never fails, I set out to do something on my computer and it becomes obstinate. I decided I wanted to write this blog as my personal space to either blow off steam, or to praise something or someone. My computer decided it did not want to open any websites, and if happened to open one, it wanted to take forty-forevers to load it. I don't have patience for that noise. When I sit down in front of this machine I expect it to work, simple as that.
After a few hours of shutting down and rebooting, running my virus software, or anything else I could think of, I decided to look into that PC-Matic program. The guy on the TV says this is the best remedy known to man for computer woes, but as you know I can be a bit of a skeptic. After a few tries I got online again to read a few reviews that WERE NOT found on the company site. The large majority of reviews thought the PC-Matic program was amazing and did all it was designed to do. I am thinking, if it doesn't work I can uninstall then demand my money back for a worthless product, right? I pay for the product and download it on my computer. I paid my $50.00 (actually 49.99), which will renew every year unless I stop it, for licenses for 5 computers. No, I don't have 5 computers, one PC and one Laptop, that is just what you get for your 50.00.
Once downloaded I follow the directions to start scanning my computer. It states the more there is wrong on your computer the longer the scan will take. So the waiting begins, {sigh}. The scanning is complete, according to the report, I have 64 problems on my computer. YIKES!!!! I select to "Repair All", and I wait a bit longer. Next I have to reboot my computer for all the changes to take effect. Lastly I am instructed to run the scan again on the off chance the first scan may have missed something. I thought, OK what else to I have to do on this hot, humid Saturday morning, so I select scan and prepare to wait. The second scan just took a couple minutes. I really can't tell you if it found any other problems, I just wanted to reboot again and take this puppy for a test drive.
Is my computer running any faster? Does warp speed mean anything to you? I wholeheartedly recommend this product if your computer is sluggish and just not operating at it's best. I don't work for the company, nor do I get any kind of compensation if you purchase the product on my recommendation, I just believe in sharing the info when I find something that is really great. I would recommend PC-Matic to any and everyone without hesitation.
That is my rambling for today. It Monday, so that means there is a mountain of laundry calling my name.
Until next time;
Glenda
